Note : Re-written!
The line of Nino’s shoulders are stiff and there’s urgency in his footsteps that make Ohno chuckle despite himself, muffling it though with the palm of his hand because he didn’t want to risk Nino hearing him.
It’s charming as much as it’s somewhat frustrating, sometimes, when Nino acts like a deranged girlfriend when he’s jealous. Ohno enjoys those seldom bouts of jealousy as much as he loathes them, and only because he knows what it means. Nino can be awfully possessive when he wants to be; and Ohno takes pride at the thought that Nino loves him so much to be this way, although he doesn’t need to be.
Ohno loves him just as much, after all, and there’s no way that’s going to change. No amount of flirting from the opposite sex is enough to make him want Nino any less, and that’s that.
“Nino, hey,” he calls, catching Nino by the front of Nino’s own apartment door, in the middle of unlocking it with shaking fingers. Ohno sighs and gently reaches forward to do the job himself, only vaguely thankful that Nino simply huffed but otherwise let him.
Once the door is unlocked, however, Nino elbows him aside as he pushes his way inside. He heaves another sigh and follows, without another word, locking the door behind them and hoping what he has in mind would be enough for Nino to forgive him.

He finds Nino on the couch, minutes later, arms crossed tightly over his chest and glaring at him from where he is sitting. He chuckles and takes his jacket off, slides it across the back of the nearest chair before he goes to join Nino.
Nino says nothing when he stops in front of Nino, still says nothing when he opted on sitting in front of Nino, on the floor, between Nino’s slightly parted legs instead of on the couch, beside Nino.
“Are you going to be mad at me all night? Shall I just go, then?” he asks, hands on either side of Nino’s hips. Nino raises an eyebrow at him and makes a face that says all the things Nino can’t, or won’t, verbalize at the moment.
Ohno shrugs. “I already said I’m sorry,” he says, lifting up from the floor to peck Nino’s chin. Nino barely even twitches. “What more do you want me to do?”
Nino’s lips curl into a grimace, scowls at him as if he’s contemplating punching him square in the face. Ohno stands his ground and waits.
“You don’t have to follow me home, you know?” Nino mutters, finally, as he leans back on the couch with a look that says he doesn’t care either way. Oh, but Ohno knows him enough to see that it’s just a façade, a mask, to cover up the jealousy from completely showing up on his face.
“But I want to,” Ohno says, fingers squeezing Nino’s hips. “Does that mean I shouldn’t have? Do you want me to leave?” he asks, using the reverse tactic and hoping it will work.
Normally, it does; but he’s not sure about it now, not when Nino looks seconds away from decking him good.
“I need you to grow a brain and think about what you did,” Nino grits, eyes narrowed. “Do you know how close I was from grabbing that slut’s hair to drag him away? You should be glad Aiba-chan was there to stop me in time, otherwise –“
He surges from his crouch on the floor to kiss Nino then, one hand cupping the back of Nino’s head to keep him in place while he kisses Nino. Nino is too stunned to do anything at first, but soon he is wriggling free, even resolved in biting Ohno’s lips hard enough to draw blood if only to shove him away, but he doesn’t let the pain deter him. Instead, he lets his lips do the work, coaxing Nino’s own ever so gently, passionately, teasing his way inside with all the gentleness he could muster until Nino gave in.
Soon after, Nino’s arms are wrapped around his shoulders for dear life, letting Ohno kiss his way in with a growl, his own hands coming around Nino’s hips and pulling him just the slightest bit to deepen the kiss. Nino moans through the kiss, and Ohno momentarily forgets how to breathe, pulls away just the tiniest bit, breathing raggedly as he tugs Nino’s head down, resting their foreheads together.
“I’m sorry, okay?” he rasps, thumbing Nino’s jaw. Nino still says nothing but at least he’s not pushing Ohno away, eyes closed as Ohno caresses his cheek. “You know I don’t like it when you’re angry. Or jealous. Because, I told you already, you don’t have to be.”
Nino swallows hard, then, and Ohno’s heart clenches in turn. “You didn’t want to kiss her?” Nino mutters, soft and hesitant in a way he never is. Ohno feels like the world’s ultimate jerk for making Nino feel like this, like he means nothing to Ohno at all.
He slides his fingers across the back of Nino’s head, through his hair and pulls him closer, kisses the tips of Nino’s nose, his temple, his eyes.
“No, God, why would you even think that? The only person I will always want to kiss is you, okay? You keep on forgetting that,” he says, kneels up and coaxes Nino to open his eyes. “Look at me, come on.”
Nino shakes his head but otherwise complies. “Did you really think I was going to kiss her?”
Nino’s eyes are glassy and he looks beaten. Ohno will have to take responsibility of it all, here and now. Nino nods.
“You were dancing so close together that I – God, I’m being silly. This is stupid.” Nino says.
He chuckles and this time, it’s his turn to shake his head. “No, you’re not. It’s my fault for letting you think that. I promise that won’t happen again. I thought you knew it was just a dare, but I guess you weren’t there when I lost the bet.”
Nino looks confused for a moment, and he has to kiss Nino again for that, couldn’t not.
“Well, yeah.”
“A bet?” Nino asks.
“It’s the choice between paying for everything we ordered or that dance with that girl,” he says, sheepishly. “And of course, I chose the latter. If they think I’ll pay for everything, then they’re clearly stupid.” He adds.
Nino breaks into a giggling fit as if on cue. “You’re not lying to me, are you?”
He bristles, and lets himself be tugged up on the couch in haste. “We can call Jun-kun now, if you want. He’ll vouch for me, I promise.”
Nino gives him a look that says he’s still doesn’t fully believe him, but for now, he’ll let it go.
“Maybe later,” Nino says, before pushing him backwards, till he’s on his back on the couch. He grins, and is all too glad to do anything, for Nino.
“For now, we’ll do this. I want compensation for what you made me go through earlier.”
He smiles and lets Nino line his body over him before he flips their positions over.
“With pleasure.”
