Chapter 2
Dimple let out a long sigh of relief when she was finally alone. Sunako-san guided her to her old room in that house, forcing her to rest though she wanted to stay there with her. But the old lady firmly refused… when she was about to complain, the older lady stopped her mid-sentence and had told her that she still have the coming days to be with them.. Dimple didn’t say anything after that.. she just agreed after a while because for one, she doesn’t want the feeling of being watched by him.. because clearly every move she make, his eyes followed after.
Three years.. she thought.. three long years that I only got to see him on TV, but those hadn’t done him any justice.. he’s still so beautiful, even more so now.. she smiled sadly.. remembering his beautiful lips, his high cheekbone, the expressive eyes… seeing him again after three long, painful years was harder than she could have imagined. The pain still stung.. and yet, she cannot do anything about it. Because she was the one who left.. she was the one who made that choice.
She was thinking on putting her clothes on the drawer but later changed her mind. I better sleep.. she thought.. she quickly took a shower, and was towelling her hair dry when she saw him.. standing at the side of the bathroom door.. arms across his chest and staring intently on her.
Dimple nearly screamed in surprise.. Jun saw her reaction and smirk as if it was just a simple thing. She settled herself on the edge of the bed until her breathing returned to normal.. waiting for verbal attacks she thought she was gonna received.
But Jun just stayed there, staring at her... And then to Dimple’s surprise, he walked slowly towards her, his eyes still locked on her. He grabbed her arms and pulled her up.. and then he whispered..
“You haven’t said hello to me, Dimple-chan~”, he said huskily.. “isn’t that a bit rude?”, he smirked.
Dimple felt that familiar heat flowing from where he was holding her, down to her thighs.. the electricity of his simple touch still linger perfectly, almost making her lose her composure. She swallowed hard and bravely looked straight into his eyes..
And then he let go.

Jun cursed himself over and over. Why can’t I have control over myself when it comes to her?.. he thought bitterly.. three f*c**** years… and yet he never once thought of seeing her again.. and now she’s here, within his reach and his mind’s been on a rollercoaster since he saw her.
He wanted to think that he’s better than this. That he’s way better than to jump on the opportunity of being alone with her after all she had done.
Because three years ago, he promised himself never to give in.
He had let himself be buried under her spell.. let her take over his senses at those times when he thought she loved him too.. the same way he felt for her. It was so hard when she left without saying anything… the pain was unbearable that he thought he was gonna die miserable. He was devastated to the point where even him doesn’t recognize his own self when he looked at himself in the mirror.
It was so painful that seeing her again made him ache all over.
Jun wiped the tears that escaped from his eyes. No!, his mind screamed at him… don’t let her do that to you again.. and then he started walking, away from that place.. away from her.. as far away as possible.

“She’s back.”, Jun said as he settle himself on the couch. He went straight to Nino’s apartment after his “brief” encounter with Dimple. He shook his head and drank the canned beer in his hand. Nino chuckled as he watched him gulped the beer without pausing.
“Who’s back?”, Nino asked although he already knows who he was referring to.
“Don’t make me say it, Nino..”, Jun growled. He’s not in the mood to play Mr. Happy.. and seeing Nino’s lips twitch in a playful smile worsen his mood. If only Sho was not that busy~.. he thought.
“Aren’t you suppose to be home? It’s you grandfather’s funeral. I don’t know why you’re sulking here just because the girl who broke your heart came back, who happens to be “our” friend too, and who also happens to be your grandparents’ adopted child and who~”..
“Stop it Nino~!”, Jun shouted.
Nino shook his head and fell silent. And then afterwards, he whispered.. “I know it still hurts like hell, Jun-kun.. don’t pretend otherwise.”, Jun looked up at him and then Nino continued.. “aren’t you glad she’s back? At least this time, you could actually ask her what happened three years ago.. why she left without saying goodbye. If I were you, that’s exactly what I will do.. than let myself wallow in misery for something that happened in the past that can never be undone. This is your chance to know the truth, Jun.. so you can move on.. so you could both move on..”, Nino said softly.
