01. Flower girl (Ohno/Nino, PG, 231 words)

For them, it actually takes a lot of self-control not to cuddle and maybe do at least a small portion of what they usually do when they’re alone. It isn’t only because of their job, but mainly due to the fact that those things, according to Jun, are meant to be done privately and should remain as that – locked inside their home and never to be mentioned outside, especially around friends who wishes to remain sane, thank you very much.

“Lift your arms please. I want to check whether it’s going halfway up your delicious one-pack-stomach when I pin you to the bed,” Ohno commands sweetly, tilting his head and leaning in to drop a soft kiss against Nino’s shoulder, one arm around Nino’s waist and holding him firmly in place.

Nino tries stifling his groans through his palm but otherwise does what he’s told; it’s always better to give in to Ohno when he’s in this kind of kinky moods because he knows everything’s bound to get better. And that glint of promises he sees at the corners of the older man’s eyes means he’d probably get a bonus – or something.

Ohno shakes his head and reaches over to run his fingertips over Nino’s arms, grinning.

“Let’s shave you first, baby,” he mumbles, reaching to tug at the hairs on Nino’s armpits. “ – the bastards are sticking out.”

Nino groans.

02. The girl he isn’t (Ohno/Nino, PG, 152 words)

“There are feathers,” he says and holds the thing up, catching it between his thumb and forefinger. “Care to tell me why?”

Ohno gives him that look that mostly means ‘so?’ and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes, because feathers? Really?

Ohno’s pout is as real as his annoyance. “You said you wanted something feminine,” he replies. Nino thinks he’s starting to hear things backwards. He places the thing at the tips of his middle finger, lets it dangle around his fingertips and sways it in front of Ohno’s face.

“Panties that are made of feathers,” he snorts, “ – cool. You’re level of stupidity is kind of surprising me sometimes, no really.”

Ohno yanks the underwear off of Nino’s hand and scowls, before he reaches behind him and produces something that almost causes Nino’s eyes to pop out from their sockets.

“Fine. You prefer this thong made from snake’s skin instead?”

03. Gone (Ohno/Nino, PG/angst, 430 words)

He feels a hand on his shoulder before he is being pulled against a warm chest, one arm wrapping around him tightly. It takes a lot of patience to coax him into talking, most especially at times like this but with Ohno, it’s never been a problem.

He closes his eyes and feels a sudden twist inside him the minute Ohno turns him around, the older man’s fingers moving up to the back of his neck and stroking him gently.

It’s painful and it’d probably take him more than a few hugs and kisses to be able to go back to his old self but he knows Ohno and Ohno’s ability to do those and more as he curls his fingers against the front of Ohno’s shirt, letting the warmth of Ohno’s embrace cradle him, protect him.

“I’m here Kazu,” Ohno murmurs through his ear, pulling him closer and kissing his temple; his sobs became louder and Ohno just holds him, making good with his promise as the older man rocks them both till he stops shaking.

“I’m g-gonna miss her,” he croaks, burying his face further down Ohno’s neck as he weep; Ohno nods and hugs him tighter. “There’ll be no one to talk to when I’m fed up with work, no one to make fun with when Kazue turns up with another boyfriend and –” he manages to stutter before he pauses, gripping at Ohno’s shirt firmly as he trembles.

Ohno shakes his head and reaches to place a finger under his chin before he tips Nino’s face up. He smiles and Nino doesn’t know how Ohno is able to calm him down just by simply being there. Ohno kisses the tips of his nose and leans in to press their foreheads together.

“I can do that too, Kazu,” Ohno whispers around a soft smile and Nino freezes; “ – and if you need anyone to partner with you with poking fun at your sister, I’d gladly volunteer.”

Nino snorts, eyes still closed as Ohno pecks his lips. “Y-You won’t be as good as Mom,” he says around another quiet sob, feeling the tremble of something hot and painful swelling inside his chest.

Ohno smiles and kisses him softly, tenderly. “No,” he says, “-but she taught me exactly how she does it and she says it’s my turn now –“

Nino’s sobs turns violent, fierce. “Your turn? O-Of what?”

Ohno kisses him again. “My turn to take care of you.” He answers simply.

Nino had to smile despite himself, leaning in to kiss Ohno’s lips because – just because.
