[Fic] Yellow Blue

“What the hell are you talking about?! Weren’t you the one who told me you made sure no one knew about them? I thought you were hiding them pretty well and you weren’t allowing anyone to –“ Jun’s words trailed the minute Aiba and Sho simultaneously looked away, while their little Yellow alien pet was sulking in his corner of the couch, looking tremendously pitiful. “ – wait a minute, you didn’t tell anyone about those two, did you?”
The tiny yellow alien jerked upwards and started screaming; his high-pitched voice seemed to reverberate around the room and jabbed an angry finger towards Aiba.
“We didn’t,” Aiba grumbled under his breath, his voice shaky and apologetic; Jun narrowed his eyes and walked towards the still screaming little alien and scooped the poor thing with his right hand, and the little one crawled its way to Jun’s chest, hiding his tiny self inside the collar of Jun’s shirt and started wailing.
“Well then if you didn’t, why the hell is he gone?” Jun questioned, feeling the tiny alien’s body shaking against him. “Coz there is no way that one is going to leave without taking this other one with him. And you said you already searched the whole house, where could he be?”
Sho shook his head and stuffed his hands on his pocket. “W-Well, Masaki thinks that one of our visitors last night might have accidentally seen them and –“
Jun held out a hand and Sho had to shut his mouth up, at the same time Nino resurfaced from out of Jun’s collar and started flailing his hand around, before crawling up to grip at the hairs on Jun’s nape.
“Visitors? Last night? You had another gay party last night without even thinking that anyone might see your alien pets? You really are a bunch of idiots, do you know that?”
Aiba sniffed and if it wasn’t for the fact that they really screwed up this time, Jun might not be able to resist that poor puppy look on Aiba’s face, but not this time. Sho reached over to rest a hand at the small of Aiba’s back and pulled the taller man closer to him as Aiba folded himself obediently against Sho’s side.
“It’s not like that, Jun,” Sho countered, trying to voice out his reasons which Jun didn’t want to listen at all; he could still feel Nino’s fingers gripping at his hair, and his other hand had somewhat found the silver chain around Jun’s neck another comforting thing to hold on to. “ – w-we, we made sure that they’re locked hidden in the storeroom and we talked to the two of them to why we have to do it. Nino wanted to watch baseball that night but we told him we can’t because we’re having other people over and that they don’t have any idea about their existence. And I really thought Nino understood because he even proposed we just place them inside Momo-chan’s house again and they will just play with Momo-chan until the others leave, b-but –“
Jun snorted and run a soothing finger over Nino’s head as Nino muttered something under his breath and tugged at the chain of Jun’s necklace. “Well apparently, you were wrong! You both knew how clever Nino was and yet you believed him? Of course he’ll tell you that and then do exactly what you told him not to do! They’re not humans and yet you’re teaching them human things, of course they’d be curious! I’m not going to be surprised if you tell me Nino stole some of the food and the wines you were serving your guests just to make sure Ohchan had something to eat instead of Momo-chan’s food!”
Sho heaved a sigh full of regrets and looked up; Jun sighed back and patted Nino’s tiny head with his thumb. “The people who came over last night were all our friends and our friend’s acquaintances. We can check them out one by one and maybe –“
Jun shook his head and turned his attention towards the still sulking Nino, whose fingers were still curled against Jun’s hair. “Nino, are you sure you didn’t see the person who might have took Ohchan?” he asked gently, rubbing soothing circles all over Nino’s back. Nino shook his head and started wailing in his confusing alien language.
“ – shhh, shhh.. it’s okay, its okay… but I can’t understand what you’re saying and we won’t be able to find Ohchan if we’re all going to panic. Now, breathe, and tell me exactly what you remember, okay?” Jun said, and then followed it quickly when Nino opened his mouth with, “ – in Japanese, please?” Nino scowled but otherwise nodded.
Jun then faced Aiba and Sho. “You two idiots should probably start going over the names of your visitors last night and write them down. This will take a while but if you don’t want to find Nino walking around Tokyo to find his other half, then we should probably start finding him ourselves… like, right now?”
Aiba turned and squeezed Sho’s hip. “I’ll go and take your laptop from the bedroom, Sho-chan…” he said. The only thing Sho could do was nod.

“Are you hungry?” he heard the stranger asked in his raspy, but equally cold voice that made him shiver as he curled himself against the far corner, hugging his tiny self. He missed Nino, and the darkness around him made him want to cry over and over again but he knew it wouldn’t help; he should start by thinking like Nino, in order for him to survive this and maybe if he was lucky, in order for him to escape.
He shook his head and felt the stranger’s fingers poking at his legs, his warm breathe hitting him when he exhaled; he shivered again when the touch became quite bolder, the stranger’s fingers moving from his ankles to his tiny legs.
“Come on, I know you are... I’ve seen you eat a whole tempura last night, that crispy thing your yellow companion brought you? Do you want to eat that?” the stranger asked again, his tone now layered with a little annoyance. He hugged himself tighter and shut his eyes tight, chanting Nino’s name in his head.
“I want to go home,” he whispered, just loud enough for the stranger to hear and the stranger let out an almost disbelieving laugh. He curled onto himself and cried out when he found himself being tugged from his place in the corner and then he was suspended in mid-air, the stranger’s wide, bright eyes staring at him in wonder.
“Of course, little one,” he said cheerfully, leaning in to lick at Ohchan’s face with a grin; Ohchan’s whole body trembled in fear when the stranger followed his words with,
“ – but let me play with you first and then maybe, just maybe, I’ll let you…”
Ohchan closed his eyes and prayed that Nino would be able to find him first, before he was forced to end his life.

And poor Ohchan.. :( ..I know it's my fault if he is in this bad situation, but I still feel sorry for him, poor baby.
I really love this chapter. It gave me a lot of ideas about how the story should proceed.. <3

Nino is such a sweetie, doing the things he does for Ohchan. His sulky and worried behaviour is cute too. <3 Jun was so nice to him.
