It's two-thirty in the goddamn morning and he's out here driving, and Ohno is snoring beside him.
"Ohchan," he grumbles, reaching across and tapping Ohno by the shoulder. "Hey, wake up,"
Ohno barely stirred. "Hey," he tries again. "Where should I take you now?"
Ohno bats his hand away, shifts to settle on his other side. "As far as I can remember, we are living together, so --"
He sighs. "I told you we have to --"
"And I told you I don't care about whatever the fuck those people are saying," Ohno grumbles back, cutting him off. "If you don't want me anymore, then that's a different story altogether, but you said you don't want to break up; it's all up to you, you know,"
"You really don't care what happens to our career?" he tries, slowing the car down as they reaches their apartments block. Ohno is right anyway -- it's late, maybe they can be able to decide better in the morning. "We're here, Ohchan,"
Ohno opens his eyes, stops him with a hand on his leg before he can open the door to his side.
"It's not that," Ohno says, tugging him over. "We've been in the business far longer than I would have expected, and during those years, we only did what we're told," he says, kissing him lightly. He finds himself listening, waiting, even though it feels kind of uncomfortable to be holding Ohno when his hand break's digging almost too painfully against his shin.
"What are you even saying?" he murmurs, opens his mouth to welcome Ohno's tongue.
"I love you," Ohno says when he manages to pull back, hands firm around his waist. "And I'm going to say it again, I am not going to give this up just because they told me so... my happiness is with you, Kazu, and if I agree to leave you, that means I am throwing that happiness away willingly; and I am not a fool to do that, because this job -- this is not forever, but you and me, we might have a shot at that,"
Damn this man.
He shakes his head, feeling slightly incredulous as he leans in and noses at Ohno's cheek.
"Fucking cheese," he mutters, gasping when Ohno's touch becomes a little too possessive. "Fine, let's go home and you can tell me all the cheesy things you want to say while you fuck me,"
Ohno grins against his neck, biting him lightly. "I said I love you,"
"Hmm,"
"So much, you know,"
He forces himself out from Ohno's hold and pecks him on the nose. "Ditto,"
"Home?"
"Yeah."
