“No Oh-chan, I’m not going to spend the whole night with them so stop pouting because it’s not going to work.” he grumbled blithely, clapping the older boy’s shoulder and went back on stomping his fingers on the keypad of his console.

The older boy pouted, puffing his cheeks in a way that was so adorable, it’s almost a sin not to get his hands on those cheeks and pinched them. He sighed and rolled over, thinking of the many things he could do with his time instead of lazing out in here and trying to convince the older boy that going camping with a bunch of lunatics was way too far from his happy place and Ohno should know that for a fact.

At sixteen, Ohno still had the nerve to act like a seven year old child, which made Nino the mature and responsible one between the two of them. It didn't take him much effort to keep the older boy from doing stupid things but as far as he’s concerned, Ohno always knew when to attack and how to do it, until Nino surrendered with a defeated look on his face.

Nino just hoped this wasn't one of those unfortunate days.

“But Nino, Aiba-chan told me that we don’t have to pay for the place. And Jun-kun’s going to make sure we’ll have enough food to last for five days without starving me and Sho-chan, and Aiba promised to bring some from their restaurant too,” said Ohno in a convincing tone, and Nino almost, almost said yes hearing about the free food and free everything if not for the fact that he’d have to spend his days looking out for Ohno and well, making sure that Jun wouldn't have his way this time.

He wasn't going to allow any alcohol on this trip if he’s going to say yes because he wouldn’t want to repeat the incident that happened last time during Sho’s birthday.

He sighed deeply, paused his game and faced the older boy with a serious expression on his face. “I don’t know why you like spending your free-time like that, Oh-chan.. camping, seriously? Can’t we just stay in your house or something?”

Ohno pouted and crossed his arms over his chest. “And I don’t know what’s wrong with wanting to spend my freetime outdoors with my best friend..” he grumbled, narrowing his eyes. Nino bit down his lips, trying hard not to show any emotions upon hearing those words.

“Fine..” Nino grumbled back, then shook his head the moment Ohno’s eyes lightened up. “But promise me, no alcohol or else~”

“Promise, promise! Thank you, Kazu!” Ohno exclaimed, throwing both his arms around Nino’s neck, grumbling his thanks against Nino’s skin.

They arrived in the place, which was an hour's drive away from Aiba’s family house. The others were being all vocal in praising the place while Nino quietly stood behind Ohno and observed the place with satisfaction in his eyes. He felt Ohno’s arms around his shoulder exactly a minute after, pointing at the trees and excitedly mumbling about the lake Aiba boasted about a few seconds ago.

“We can go and check it out later ne, Kazu?” the older boy said, grinning from ear to ear and Nino couldn’t help but grin back. There were only few times he saw the older boy like this and even if it takes him an eternity of going back and forth to this place just to be able to see that smile again, he’d most probably be up for it.

“I think it’s better if we check it out tomorrow, Ohchan..” he answered, tapping the older boy’s back softly. “.. it’s late, we should just settle our things here first then we could go on a walk tomorrow, how’s that sound?” Ohno beamed positively towards him as he guided the older man forward. Aiba, Sho and Jun were already unpacking the foods they brought along with them while Ohno proceeded on putting their things down at the other end of the room.

The place was a typical Japanese onsen, located just a few miles outside the central of Chiba. Surrounded by trees and situated just in the middle of the Ōtaki Prefectural Forest, the place was the perfect weekend getaway for anyone who wanted to relax and be away from the city once in a while. Nino realizes the calming effect of the place and silently thanked himself for agreeing to come with them today.

But that immediately changed when he saw Aiba taking out bottles of what seemed like sake, out of the taller boy’s bag, grinning wide despite Sho’s obvious grimace.

“You!” Nino pointed a finger towards Aiba, baring his teeth for all of them to see. “.. didn’t I tell you not to bring any alcohol? What are those?!” he muttered, the veins in his neck almost pops out in frustration. “.. Satoshi, come here!”

The older boy went towards him, his head ducked low. “K-Kazu..”

“Tell me you informed that idiot about what I said to you yesterday or we’re going home, right now..”

“I.. I’m sorry..”

“Sorry about what?” he asked in despair, realizing too late what Ohno must’ve meant. “You forgot, didn’t you?” he asked instead. And when Ohno nodded his head, lips pursed and looking exactly like a lost puppy, Nino grumbled a muttered curse and threw Aiba another threatening glance.

“Drink responsibly, you hardheaded idiots!”

In the end, Nino knew something like this was going to happen as he threw each of them to their designated futons, mumbling something to himself that went beyond ‘I didn’t came here to babysit these drunken idiots’, whacking each of their mouths whenever anyone started complaining about something.

“Shut up or I’m throwing you out..” he said, his tone threatening. He nearly smacked Aiba on the head once more the moment the other boy giggled drunkenly back at him. Nino sighed and proceeded on arranging Sho next.

“You’re supposed to be the smart one, Sho-chan..” he grumbled, shaking his head. Sho was gritting his teeth and already snoring. Nino chuckled and went to Jun next. He did the same with the youngest boy, smirking smugly when Jun popped an eye open and grimace.

“You don’t have to thank me, baby girl..” he grinned, tossing the younger man to his side. He then went to finish the task by pulling Ohno to his own futon, shaking his head at the sight of the older boy’s flushed face, his lips slightly parted. Ohno’s round face glistened under the dimly lighted room, his eyelids fluttering beautifully against his pale cheeks.

Nino swallowed hard, thought of something to make him snap out of his never ending fascination towards Ohno’s lovely mouth and forced his hands in order to move the older boy. Ohno made a vague sound at the back of his throat and rolled over, occupying Nino’s futon instead. Nino chuckled and opted on re-arranging Ohno’s lithe body, covering him with the comforter up to his neck.

“I’ll chastise you tomorrow, you little drunken twit..” he muttered to himself before turning to lie down to Ohno’s side. He wasn’t able to make another move because he found himself being pinned under Ohno’s body as the older boy wriggled out of his comforter, throwing his arms and legs over Nino’s tiny frame. “.. l-let g-go, Ohchan!” Nino hissed under his breath, trying desperately to peel himself off of Ohno’s tight grip. But Ohno’s arms stayed glued on Nino’s body, his face dangerously close to Nino’s as Nino gasped in shock the minute he felt something hard poking his right thigh.

Oh you’ve gotta be kidding me!

Nino used all his strength to at least loosen Ohno’s grip on his which he successfully did but Ohno wouldn’t want to let go even after so many attempts from Nino’s part. Nino sighed in resignation, kept himself still until the only thing he could feel was Ohno’s warm breath fanning the skin of his neck as the older boy buried his face further against his right shoulder. Nino shuddered lightly as he shifted, lifted Ohno’s chin with trembling fingers and gently traces the older boy’s cheek with his thumb.

“Do you know what you’re doing to me, Ohchan?” Nino whispered in a hazy voice, his lips curls into a small smile when Ohno leaned in closer to the touch, murmuring Nino’s name in his sleep.

Without thinking twice, Nino crossed the distance between their faces and gently kissed the corners of Ohno’s mouth, his heartbeat racing a million times faster.
