To be honest, the humiliation alone was enough to make Nino wish for a very quick death to come. Sadly, wishful thinking didn’t work that way, either.

He wasn’t ready yet, not ready for this kind of confrontation, really, and though it was stupid of him to be blurting out the words he’d said prior, there was no way for the older boy to reciprocate the feeling. He was being stupid and he was completely aware of it.

He wriggled his hand, trying to get out from Ohno’s tight grip but the older boy seemed to anticipate the movement and quickly stopped Nino’s attempt to get away. Ohno tightened his grip even more, threw one arm around Nino’s waist from behind and chuckled against Nino’s neck.

Nino gasped. He stopped moving altogether and Ohno used the opportunity to turn Nino around, his lips curled into a smug grin. Nino kept his expression unreadable even though his blood kept pounding hard on his ear. Nino curled his stubby fingers into a ball as he narrowed his eyes and hissed under his breath when Ohno kept a firm hold around Nino’s body.

“Where do you think you’re going?!” Ohno stumbled, feeling a bit annoyed at Nino’s actions. “Kazu please?”

Nino stopped moving but his body remained stiff underneath Ohno’s grip. Ohno sighed deeply and pulled Nino against him, until Nino’s back was firmly rested against Ohno’s chest.

“L-Let go of me..” Nino snapped, biting down on his lip hard. “Satoshi, let go of me right now..” he growled and breathed through his nose to calm himself down. But Ohno remained unmoved even at the sudden change in Nino’s tone, and instead, started moving closer and stopped only when their faces were a breath apart.

“No,” Ohno answered defiantly and Nino could feel the determination radiating from Ohno’s body. “I won’t unless you listen to me,” Ohno added and inched closer.

Nino drew his face back hastily, feeling the heat traveling from his neck up to his cheek. “Or would you rather have me show it to you?”

“Let go of me or I’m going to punch you in the face right now,” Nino threatened in a shaking voice but Ohno only tilted his head, his lips dangerously close to Nino’s and his fingers creating tiny circles at the small of Nino’s back making him shiver.

Ohno grinned but didn’t make any move at all. “Make me Kazunari..” he muttered, wagging his eyebrows playfully. “Make your move and I’ll make mine. Let’s just see who’s going to give up first..”

Nino’s head was spinning. He didn’t know what else to do, how he was supposed to escape this little game Ohno was playing. He had bared his feelings out in the open but he was not about to let Ohno play with it.. not when it was painful enough to be so in love with him like this and yet…

“I’m going to kiss you now, Nino,” Ohno grumbled. Nino’s mind goes into an overdrive and he quickly whipped his head aside when Ohno leaned in, thus Ohno’s mouth ended up kissing Nino’s chin instead. Ohno chuckled.

“I’m going to try again, so if you want to punch me, do it now..”

Nino’s brain turned into a complete puddle of mess especially when Ohno smiled in a way that was so adorably tempting and slowly inched closer, staring right into Nino’s eyes. Nino stopped breathing altogether, closed his eyes and waited.

“Wait..” Ohno said, pausing a little. Nino growled and squared his shoulder, readied himself to beat the crap out of Ohno if he as much as decide on saying something inappropriate now.

“Fuck you Satoshi..” Nino muttered through gritted teeth, his expression visibly darkened but Ohno only beamed back, pressing his body closer to Nino.

“Don’t be mad..” he whispered back and flicked his pink tongue at the corner of Nino’s mouth. Nino’s breath hitched at the action, his eyes widened at the sudden sensation. “I was just going to tell you ‘I love you’ first…”

Nino was most likely about to pass out as Ohno wounded his hand at the back of Nino’s neck, blowing warm air on Nino’s face while smiling.

“So.. am I allowed to kiss you now?”

Nino blinked slowly and nodded back. Ohno’s expression softened immediately after as he crossed the distance between their mouths. Ohno expertly moved his lips against Nino, slowly at first, like he’s tasted Nino’s lips for the first time. Nino tightly closed his eyes, moaning through the kiss and let Ohno took control. Ohno gingerly grabbed both Nino’s hands and placed it around his neck as Ohno’s own hand brushed the hair at the base of Nino’s skull. When Ohno angled his head and groaned, Nino did the same and quickly opened his mouth as Ohno slipped his tongue inside, catching Nino’s tongue and suckled on it wildly.

Nino pulled back a few moments after to catch some precious air while Ohno dropped tiny kisses all over Nino’s jaw. “W-wait.. w-wait..” Nino whispered but Ohno was too far gone as he cupped Nino’s cheek, muttered something unintelligible under his breath and kissed Nino again.. and again..

“Oh thank god!”

Sho’s voice vibrated through the four corners of their rented room as they both entered the door, smiling and their fingers intertwined. Jun immediately saw their hands and quirked his eyebrows as sounds of obvious disgust escaped his throat. Nino smiled smugly back and clicked his tongue.

“Where were you? God, I thought you two were lost, I nearly called~”

“Eh? Nino-chan, what is that?” Sho was cut off when Aiba bounced in front of Nino and Ohno, his bright eyes focused at Nino’s neck. Sho quickly moved and examined the thing Aiba was pointing at but immediately backed away when Nino’s face turned bright red.

“Awww, you guys made out didn’t you? Oh-chan, you weren’t being careful.. you put hickeys on Nino, see?”

Ohno on the other hand remained visibly unaffected and only twitched his mouth as confirmation. Sho gagged, and Nino wondered whether he was pretending or not.

“Now, now.. it’s okay Sho-chan.. that’s just normal.. you don’t have to feel bad about it..” Aiba cooed but Sho was clearly not satisfied at all.

“Do you want me to tell you what happened, Matsumoto?” Nino asked, enjoying the horrified look on Jun’s face. Jun bared his teeth back at him. Nino grinned in return and was about to tell Jun off when Ohno flopped himself on his lap, pouting.

"Kazu,"

Nino's chest tightened. “Oh-chan, what is it?”

Ohno pouted a bit more and Nino couldn’t help but kiss those puffy cheeks. Jun made a gagging sound at the back of his throat and turned around, muttering something indistinct under his breath.

“Hmm?”

“I’m hungry..” the older boy said.

Nino smiled and pinched Ohno’s cheek, squeezed the older boy’s behind and got up to fetch his ‘Hungry’ some food.
