Prompt Drabble 5 : Monster Mom
“Where are you going?”
Satoshi looks up, eyes blinking slowly as he gazes back towards his mother’s inquiring gaze. His mother quirks an eyebrow when suddenly, the door to her son’s bathroom opens and young, skinny boy came out, wearing nothing but that horrified look on his face.
The older woman let out a meaningful snort and turns around while trying hard to stifle her laugh through her palms.
“M-Mom?”
She stops just in time before she slams the door behind her and mutters without looking back.
“I’ll be back, Satoshi… let me just check if your father had some left over condoms for you and for… anyway, you can lock the door.. I’ll just slip it under, okay? Do you want Vaseline? Or will lotion works just fine?”
Ohno blinks and turns his head to the boy who was then blushing to the tips of his hair. He nodded and when he realizes that his mother couldn’t actually see him, he smiles.
“Can we have paper towels too?”
The boy shrieked and threw himself back to the bathroom much to Ohno’s surprise and it took him almost two hours before he convinced the younger boy to come out.
To his disappointment, they weren’t able to use the condoms and the petroleum jelly.
“Kazu,” Ohno mumbles, worming his arms behind the younger boy who was curled into a ball against the sheet. “the condoms… my Mom will ask about them in the morning…”
The boy shudders at the thought and burrows his face against the pillow, hoping for the bed to eat him alive. Now please, if it’s okay.
